Research progress of MYH9 in digestive tract tumors
Digestive tract tumors are the most common malignant tumors in our country, and the incidence increases year by year. For a long time, the incidence and mortality of digestive tract tumors have not shown a significant down-ward trend,so it is urgent to find and determine effective diagnosis and treatment targets.MYH9,also known as myosinⅡA or non-muscular myosin heavy chain 9(NMMHC-ⅡA),is a 226 kDa subunit of class Ⅱ conventional myosin. It exists in the form of hmelase and consists of two heavy chains and two pairs of light chains.MYH9 interacts with actin in the cytoplasm and participates in different cellular processes.Such as cell movement, cell migration and cell adhesion.Recent studies have found that MYH9 is highly expressed in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, gastric cancer,color-ectal cancer and other malignant tumors and promotes their invasion and progression. However, the specific mechanism of MYH9 in digestive tract tumors remains unclear. This paper reviewed relevant studies in recent years, aiming to ex-plore the future research and clinical value of MYH9 in digestive tract tumors.
