Research progress of m6A methylation modification in pancreatic cancer
As the most abundant apparent transcriptome modification in eukaryotic RNA,N6-methyladenosine(m6A)regulates RNA processing, splicing, nucleation, translation and stability by transferring, removing and identif-ying m6A methylation sites, which are essential for tumorigenesis, progression, metabolism and metastasis.Pancreatic cancer is a highly malignant tumor, which has the characteristics of late diagnosis, early metastasis, poor prognosis, drug resistance and lack of effective treatment, which has become a great challenge to clinical treatment.Recently,it has been found that abnormal m6A modification is related to the pathogenesis and malignant progression of pancreatic cancer. Therefore, this article briefly reviewed the regulatory mechanism of the abnormal expression of m6A methylation and its related regulators in the occurrence, development and treatment of pancreatic cancer,in order to provide new ideas for improved treatment and new treatment of pancreatic cancer.
