Risk factors of gastroesophageal reflux disease in diabetes patients:a Meta-analysis
Objective To explore the risk factors of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)in diabetes patients by Meta-analysis,and to provide a reference for the prevention of GERD in diabetes patients. Methods Cochrane Library,PubMed,Web of Science,CNKI,WanFang Database and VIP were searched to collect case-control studies on risk fac-tors of GERD in diabetes mellitus. The Newcastle-Ottawa scale(NOS)was used to evaluate the quality of the literature, and the literature with a score≥7 points was included. Results Twelve studies involving 3 007 diabetes patients were included.Meta-analysis indicated that gender(OR=0.82,95%CI:0.68-0.99),peripheral neuropathy(OR=1.63,95%CI:1.05-2.51),autonomic neuropathy(OR=2.31,95%CI:1.21-4.42)were risk factors for GERD in diabe-tes patients.Sensitivity analysis and publication bias results revealed that the combined results of each factor were sta-ble,and there was no obvious publication bias. Conclusion Gender, peripheral neuropathy and autonomic neuropathy are the risk factors of GERD in diabetes patients. It is suggested that diabetes patients with risk factors should be regu-larly screened for GERD.
