Current status of clinical application of SpyGlass
In recent years,the technology of choledochoscopy has developed rapidly.Single-operater cholangioscopy system SpyGlass has gradually entered the clinic with its advantages of small size,simple operation,intuitive and clear observation of the biliary and pancreatic duct and so on.For some difficult biliary and pancreatic duct diseases with tra-ditional methods,SpyGlass endoscopic vision system has greater advantages than traditional methods in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.It can more directly observe the bile duct and pancreatic duct,but also can do some thera-peutic operations and sampling in the lumen,so as to improve the diagnostic accuracy of biliary and pancreatic duct dis-eases.This paper summarized the clinical application of SpyGlass in biliary and pancreatic duct diseases.The analysis showed that SpyGlass had a significant value in the diagnosis and treatment of biliary and pancreatic duct diseases,refer-ring to its application in these aspects,it can be extended to the diagnosis and treatment of other diseases.As the tech-nology matures,SpyGlass will have better applications in the future.
