Long non-coding RNA and its micro-peptides in liver cancer
Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)was previously thought to be unable to encode proteins, but more and more studies have found that lncRNA can encode micro-peptides of less than 100 amino acids through its own small open reading frame.Studies have reported that these micro-peptides play important roles in the occurrence and development of cancer. In order to better explain the function, mechanism and potential application of lncRNA-encoded micro-peptides in tumor progression, this article mainly provided an overview of lncRNA and the micro-peptides produced by lncRNA in liver cancer.
