Microecology of tongue flora in patients with advanced colorectal adenoma
Objective To investigate the characteristics of the microecology of tongue flora in patients with advanced colorectal adenoma. Methods A total of 15 patients with advanced colorectal adenoma who attended the Digestive En-doscopy Center of Dongfang Hospital,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from Feb.2023 to Apr.2023,and 30 healthy people from the physical examination center were included. The tongue was scraped using oral pharyngeal swabs.16S rRNA amplification and the high-throughput sequencing were performed.Microecological analysis was con-ducted on the sequencing results. Results There was no significant difference in Alpha diversity between the advanced colorectal adenoma group and healthy people group(P>0.05).The difference in Beta diversity was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).The relative abundance of Actinobacteria,Atopobium,Actinomyces and Rothia in the advanced colorec-tal adenoma group was significantly higher than that of healthy people group(P<0.05).The relative abundance of Me-gasphaera,Oribacterium and Veillonella in advanced colorectal adenoma group was significantly lower than that in healthy people group(P<0.05).Conclusion The tongue flora of patients with advanced colorectal adenoma is different from that of healthy people, which is mainly manifested in the increased abundance of Atopobium,Actinomyces and Rothia.Decrease in the abundance of Megasphaera,Oribacterium and Veillonella.
