Research status of transmural healing in Crohn's disease
Crohn's disease is a chronic transmural inflammatory disease,whose therapeutic target has always been an important observation point for clinical treatment and prognosis.Therefore,determining the appropriate therapeutic target is key to clinicians.At present,the recognized long-term treatment target is endoscopic mucosal healing.Howev-er,due to the limitations of endoscopy,transmural healing evaluated by cross-sectional imaging technology has been pro-posed as a better treatment target.Understanding of transmural healing in Crohn's disease and related reviews are few in China.In this review,literature on transmural healing at home and abroad will be reviewed to summarize the existing definition,evaluation methods,clinical significance and influencing factors of transmural healing,so as to improve the understanding of clinicians on transmural healing and provide basis for determining treatment targets and precision medi-cine for Crohn's disease.
