Clinical analysis of endoscopic ligation for the treatment of internal hemorrhoid
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of endoscopic ligation for the treatment of internal hemorrhoids.Methods The clinical data of 138 patients with internal hemorrhoids who underwent endoscopic ligation surgery at the Seventh Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital from Aug.2021 to Dec.2023 were collected.Their general information,clinical characteristics and treatment effects were analyzed.Results Among the 138 patients with internal hemorrhoids,there were 12 cases(8.7%)of grade Ⅰ,74 cases(53.6%)of grade Ⅱ,and 52 cases(37.7%)of grade Ⅲ.The success rate of endoscopic ligation treatment for internal hemorrhoids was 100%,with a treatment effectiveness rate of 95.7%.Among them,92 cases(66.7%)were cured and 40 cases(29.0%)improved.The most common postoperative complication was postoperative pain,with 45 cases accounting for 32.6%,followed by 19 cases(13.8%)of anal prolapse and 5 cases(3.6%)of difficulty urinating.Most postoperative pain patients can re-lieve themselves,with 7 cases(5.1%)of severe pain relieved after medication.Conclusion Endoscopic ligation is a safe,reliable and effective treatment method for internal hemorrhoids.
