Diagnosis and treatment of abdominal cocoon and postoperative complications
Reviewing the clinical data of a patient with abdominal cocoon admitted to our hospital,who underwent exploratory laparotomy and intestinal adhesiolysis,and was complicated by Wernicke's encephalopathy and inflammatory intestinal obstruction after surgery.After active treatment,the patient recovered well and was discharged successfully,and no recurrence has been observed so far.In this paper,the treatment experience of this patient and previous literature reports were summarized as follows.
