Macroamylasemia:two cases report and literature review
Macroamylasemia is a rare disease marked by elevated blood amylase without specific symptoms and signs.Macroamylase is a macromolecular circulating complex of amylase and immunoglobulin that cannot be filtered through the kidney.Two cases of macroamylasemia were reported,with elevated serum amylase,normal renal function,normal urine amylase,amylase-creatinine clearance rate of less than 1%,and polyethylene glycol(PEG)precipitation rate of more than 73%.Pancreatic and parotid gland diseases and other related diseases were excluded.Macroamylasemia is not only associated with autoimmune diseases,malignant tumors and other diseases,but also can occur in healthy people.
