Design of a Chopper-Stabilized Bandgap Reference with Brokaw Structure
Aiming at the problem that the output voltage accuracy of traditional bandgap voltage re-ference is low under the influence of process error,a low offset voltage chopper-stabilized bandgap voltage reference is designed.The bandgap reference voltage source includes a bandgap reference core,a reference current source,a folded cascode amplifier,a chopper,a notch filter,etc.The offset voltage and low frequ-ency noise of the amplifier are filtered through the cooperation of the chopper and the notch filter.Using TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS process,the verification is carried out on Cadence Virtuoso platform,and the simu-lation results show that the bandgap reference can stably output 1.228 V reference voltage,and has small offset voltage and low frequency noise,which is suitable for high-precision applications.
