From July to October 2019,the Xi'an Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics Conservation and Archaeology excavated two ancient tombs at the south of Renjiazhai Village,Guodu Street,Changning New District,Chang'an District,Xi'an City.Among them,tomb no.M1 has a long sloping tomb passage with five shaft wells and a brick chamber.Over 50 pieces(sets)of artifacts were unearthed,including two epitaphs,confirming that the tomb belongs to the joint burial of Dai Zhide,a Zaixiang Grand Chancellor of the Tang Dynasty,and his wife,Cui from Boling.
