Archaeological discoveries in the Xuzhou region have revealed inscriptions of"Beiping Yuan(Beiping Yard)"and"Beiping Yi(Beiping Settlement)"on a seal, suggesting the existence of a cemetery and a mausoleum named Beiping Yuan and Beiping Yi,respectively. The discovery of the"Beiping Yi(Beiping Settlement)"seal in the tomb of the King of Chu in the Shizi Mountain indicates that the establishment of the mausoleum predates the burial of the tomb's occupant.By considering textural materials such as"Yuanyuan(Yuan Yard)","Yiyuan(Yi Yard)",and"Wenyuan(Wen Yard)"found in the Xuzhou region and the patterns of mausoleum establishments,it is inferred that"Beiping Yuan"is the mausoleum of Liu Bang's grandfather(great-grandfather),located in present-day Fengxian County or its surrounding areas.
