Exhibitions are the core of museums and are their most representative business card.Design and evaluation of exhibitions have long been conducted by experts in relevant fields, with limited avenues for audience participation. Therefore, this paper adopts a viewer-centric approach, selecting the exhibition Yuyun Jiuzhou(Curating Jade and the Nine States):Collision and Integration of Early Civilizations in China as a case study. The research team attempts to construct an evaluation framework for the exhibition from three aspects:exhibition content, exhibition format, and related supporting materials.Utilizing the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)method, the team establishes the weightings of each indicator based on audience feedback. The exhibition achieved an overall evaluation score of 4.42 out of 5.This score reflects a high degree of support and recognition from the audience towards the exhibition.Exhibition evaluation with audience involvement will undoubtfully contribute to the diversification of museum development.
