Since the beginning of the 21st century,a large number of themed exhibitions reflecting Chinese cultures have increasingly ventured abroad and gained popularity in countries such as Europe and the United States.Through these exhibitions, the differing philosophies and characteristics of museum exhibitions between China and the West have also become apparent.Exhibition text and its composition represent one such crucial aspect. In China, there tends to be a greater focus on individual exhibit items rather than the overall content and text of the exhibition, which not only affects the audience's understanding of the exhibition but also diminishes its cultural impact.Because of these, this paper aims to analyze the differences between China and the UK in terms of exhibition text, using the Terracotta Warriors exhibition, which has been the most frequently exhibited in China,as a case study,in order to provide some insights for exhibition designs aimed at international audiences.
