Based on academic history and non-academic contemplation, this article reconstructs the geomorphology of the Guanzhong region in the Shang Dynasty from a geomorphological perspective and explores its relationship with settlements,as well as cultural and social structures. The research indicates that factors such as geomorphology and water systems are closely related to the layout of Shang Dynasty settlements in the Guanzhong region, and deeply influence the structure and changes of regional culture and society. This not only furthers the understanding and interpretation of Liu Junshe's proposition on water systems and ancient cultures, but also demonstrates the significant value of analytical perspective in archaeological research.
