In recent years,3D laser scanning technology has become increasingly widespread and sophisticated in the field of cultural heritage conservation. However, scanning small and micro-glass artifacts, which often have transparent and reflective characteristics and rich details, remains challenging.By using laser 3D scanning technology, adjusting the scanning parameters, and incorporating texture mapping techniques, this study solves the problems of the acuqistion and utilization of high-precision 3D data for small and micro-glass artifacts. Our experiments have validated the effectiveness of this technology in 3D modeling of transparent and reflective glass artifacts, clarified its applicable scope, and applied it to the 3D modeling and data analysis of late Warring States to Qin Dynasty glass beads unearthed from archaeological site in Airport New City of Xixian New Area,Xi'an.
