Since the 1980s,bronze mirrors from the Song and Jin periods have gradually received scholarly attention, but the issue of their chronological classification has not been resolved systematically. This paper focuses on the most representative type of Song-Jin bronze mirrors:those depicting narrative scenes with human figures. It explores the characteristics of these mirrors during different periods and proposes the concepts of"Song-style narrative mirrors"and"Jin-style narrative mirrors"to offer new perspectives on the dating of these artifacts. The study further examines the cultural fusion and transformation between the Song and Jin societies.
