86 tombs have been excavated from the Ji'rentai Goukou cemetery in Xinjiang,including vertical pit graves,vertical shaft side-chamber graves,vertical shaft stone coffin graves,vertical pit graves with two-tiered platforms,and surface burials.The tombs date from the early Bronze Age to the mid-Qing Dynasty.The late Bronze Age to the early Iron Age are the period when the cemetery was in main use.During this period,significant changes in tomb structure and rich cultural remains were observed,providing crucial data for establishing the archaeological cultural sequence of the Upper Ili River during this period.
