摘要
古汉语研究是威廉·冯·洪堡对比语言研究和普遍语言研究不可或缺的组成部分,促使洪堡更为全面地探索人类语言的普遍特性和进一步考察语言与思维之间的关系.本研究评述并探讨了洪堡对古汉语语法的研究,揭示了他从否认汉语具有语法到承认汉语拥有隐性语法的变化过程.与此同时,他对古代汉语的研究也验证了汉语在现代普通语言学研究中所具有的巨大的类型学意义.
Abstract
The study of ancient Chinese is an integral aspect of Wilhelm von Humboldt's contrastive and general language research,which led Humboldt to explore more comprehensively the general character of human language and to further examine the relationship between language and thought.This paper reviews and discusses Humboldt's study of ancient Chinese grammar,revealing his change from denying that Chinese has a grammar to recognising that it has an implicit grammar.At the same time,his study of ancient Chinese also proves the great typological significance of Chinese in the study of modern general linguistics.
