中国环境形象建构的话语历史分析——基于《中国日报》气候变化报道语料库的研究

摘要
气候变化已成为全球关切的焦点问题,相关报道在很大程度上影响并塑造着国家环境形象.本研究以2011年至2020年《中国日报》有关中国气候变化的报道为语料,在沃达克(Wodak,2001)话语历史分析法的基础上,结合LDA主题模型和语料库方法,探析该话语实践所建构的中国环境形象.通过对报道主题、互文关系、语言表现形式的分析,本研究发现《中国日报》凭借六大主题和多样话语策略,成功塑造了绿色低碳、勇担责任、言出必行、开放共享的中国环境形象.希望本研究能丰富国家环境形象建构研究,并为外宣媒体提出可行性建议.
Abstract
Climate change has become a hot issue of worldwide concern,whose coverage to a large extent influences and constructs the national environmental image.Based on the self-built corpus of China-related news reports on climate change in China Daily from 2011 to 2020,this paper intends to investigate the discursive construction of China's environmental images from the perspective of Wodak's Discourse-Historical Approach(2001)with LDA topic model and corpus methods.It is found that,by analyzing the themes,intertextual relationships,and linguistic realizations of the news reports,China Daily has constructed the environmental images of China concerning greenness,responsibility,credibility,and openness through six themes and multiple discursive strategies.It is hoped that this paper can enrich the research on national environmental image construction and provide practical suggestions for the media of external publicity.
