Objective To investigate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia.Methods A total of 100 children with pneumonia admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Gangcheng District People's Hospital of Jinan City from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into the control group(50 cases)and the observation group(50 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy.The total effective rate,disappearance time of symptoms and signs and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of symptoms and signs in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy has good clinical effect in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia,which can effectively improve symptoms and signs,and has safety.
