Objective To investigate the effect of early comprehensive development guidance on physical and intellectual development of infants.Methods A total of 60 infants who underwent regular physical examination in the Outpatient Clinic for Children Health of Xinyi Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center from January to December 2022 were selected and divided into the control group(n=30)and the observation group(n=30)according to the random number table method.The control group received routine child health care,and the observation group received early comprehensive development guidance.The physical development,mental development and the incidence of nutritional diseases were compared between the two groups.Results The height([76.46±2.15]cm),body weight([10.42±1.13]kg),head circumference([46.21±0.68]cm),mental index([97.05±5.44]points)and developmental quotient([96.61±5.57]points)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group([74.56±2.22]cm,[9.23±1.10]kg,[45.76±0.51]cm,[92.55±5.51]points,[91.86±5.34]points)(P<0.05).The total incidence of nutritional diseases in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Early comprehensive development guidance can promote the physical and mental development of infants,reduce the occurrence of nutritional diseases,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
