Objective To explore the application effect of delivery ball+free position intervention in midwifery of primipara.Methods Sixty-eight primiparas who delivered in Shan County People's Hospital in Heze City from March 2021 to June 2022 were selected and divided into the reference group(n=34)and the study group(n=34)according to the random number table method.The control group was given routine midwifery intervention,and the study group was given delivery ball plus free position intervention.The pain degree(VAS),stage of labor,maternal sense of control in labor(LAS),neonatal Apgar score and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The VAS score at delivery in the study group was lower than that in the reference group,the stage of labor was shorter than that in the reference group,and the LAS score,neonatal Apgar score and satisfaction score were higher than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of delivery ball+free position in midwifery of primiparas can relieve the degree of labor pain,shorten the stage of labor,and improve the status of mother and child.
