Objective To explore the clinical effect of Xiyanping Injection combined with Azithromycin in the treatment of pediatric Mycoplasma pneumonia.Methods A total of 50 children with Mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to Handan Fourth Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects.All the children were divided into the control group and the study group using the random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Azithromycin,and the study group combined with Xiyanping Injection on the basis of the control group.The clinical effect,the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical efficacy of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of cough and expectoration,the time for body temperature to return to normal,the disappearing time of lung rales on auscultation and X-ray examination of lung shadow in the study group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of Xiyanping Injection combined with Azithromycin in the treatment of pediatric Mycoplasma pneumonia is good,which can shorten the disappearance time of clinical symptoms,reduce the adverse reactions and is worth promoting.
