Objective To explore the clinical effect of Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets combined with Metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.Methods A total of 150 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome admitted to Department of Gynaecology,Jilin Guowen Hospital from March 2020 to October 2022 were selected as the study objects.All the patients were divided into the control group(75 cases)and the observation group(75 cases)using the random number table method.The control group was treated with Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets,and the observation group combined with Metformin on the basis of the control group.The levels of sex hormones,clinical indicators,ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the levels of testosterone,estradiol and luteinizing hormone in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the level of follicle stimulating hormone in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The endometrial thickness,ovarian volume and body mass index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets and Metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms,improve endocrine disorders,increase the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate,and has better clinical efficacy,which is worthy of promotion and application.
