Objective To explore the application effect of psychological nursing in patients with postpartum depression.Methods A total of 84 patients with postpartum depression in Tancheng County Psychiatric Hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 were selected and divided into basic group(n=42)and psychological group(n=42)by the random number table method.The basic group was given routine nursing,and the psychological group was given psychological nursing.The emotional state and quality of life in the two groups were compared.Results Before nursing,there were no significant differences in self-rating depression scale(SDS)and 36-item short form(SF-36)scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After nursing,the SDS scores in the two groups were decreased and the SF-36 scores were increased,and the SDS score in the psychological group was lower than that in the basic group,the SF-36 score was higher than that in the basic group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of psychological nursing in patients with postpartum depression is remarkable,which can relieve depression and improve the quality of life,and is worth popularizing and applying.
