Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea(PD)with syndrome of cold congelation and blood stasis.Methods A total of 77 patients with PD with syndrome of cold congelation and blood stasis admitted to the gynecological clinic of XuanWu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Beijing from January to December 2022 were selected and divided into control group(39 cases)and observation group(38 cases)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with Ibuprofen Capsules,and the observation group was treated with Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction.The pain degree,clinical efficacy and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in visual analogue scale(VAS)score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the VAS score of both groups was decreased,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of both groups were decreased,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction can effectively improve the therapeutic effect in treating PD with syndrome of cold congelation and blood stasis,and can better reduce the pain degree of patients.
