Objective To explore the application effect of hypnotherapy in group cognitive behavioral therapy for postpartum depression. Methods Sixty-one patients with postpartum depression who were treated in Xi'an Mental Health Center from October 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into observation group(31 cases)and control group(30 cases)according to random number table method. The observation group was treated with hypnotherapy combined with group cognitive behavioral therapy, while the control group was treated with group cognitive behavioral therapy.Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)score and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)score were compared between the two groups. Results After 2,4,and 6 weeks of treatment, there were statistically significant differences in the time, intergroup, and interaction of HAMD and HAMA scores between the two groups(P<0.05).After treatment,HAMD and HAMA scores of the two groups gradually decreased with the increase of treatment cycle, and both were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Hypnotherapy combined with group cognitive behavioral therapy can improve the clinical effect of postpartum depression.
