Objective To explore the application effect of health education based on knowledge-belief-behavior mode in children with Mycoplasma pneumonia.Methods A total of 96 children with Mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to the Nanning Social Welfare Institute from November 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the research subjects and they were divided into the observation group(n=48)and the control group(n=48)according to random number table method.The control group received routine care combined with routine health education,and the observation group received health education based on knowledge-belief-behavior mode on the basis of the control group.The effect of different health education were compared between the two groups.Results The knowledge level,belief intensity,and behavior change scores of observation group after nursing were higher than those of control group(P<0.01).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In children with Mycoplasma pneumonia,health education based on knowledge-belief-behavior mode can effectively improve the disease awareness,belief intensity,and behavior change of the children and their guardians,and improve the satisfaction of the children and their guardians on the health education.
