Objective To analyze the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in pediatric upper respiratory tract infection.Methods A total of 114 children with upper respiratory tract infection admitted to Cangshan Health Center in Lanling County from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects.All the children were divided into the control group and the observation group using the random number table method,with 57 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received comprehensive nursing.The children's compliance behavior,children's symptom disappearance time,children's hospital stay,parental awareness of the disease,and parental nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the observation group had higher total compliance rate,shorter children's symptom disappearance time and hospital stay(P<0.05).The parental awareness of the disease in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the total rate of parental nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in children with upper respiratory tract infection can accelerate symptoms relief,improve their compliance behavior,parental awareness of the disease,and nursing satisfaction,which is worth promoting.
