Objective To explore children intensive nursing research path and research hotspots at home and abroad,and to provide some references for the future related research.Methods By searching relevant literature on pediatric intensive nursing through China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science Core Collection,the CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software was uesd for analysis,including national cooperative networks,keyword co-occurrence,and clustering,etc.Results A total of 978 Chinese articles and 990 English articles were included.The research path had changed from traditional disease nursing to holistic nursing that took children as the center and took into account the role of family.The object of study was given priority to children with mechanical ventilation.The development trend was to improve the quality of pediatric critical care.Research hotspots included delirium management,sedation and analgesia interventions,early mobilization of children with mechanical ventilation,transitional nursing,and hospice care.Conclusion There is still a gap between domestic pediatric intensive nursing and international standards.Nursing staff should learn from advanced foreign experiences,conduct more in-depth scientific research,develop localized assessment tools,and further improve pediatric intensive nursing techniques to promote the development of pediatric intensive nursing in China.
