Objective To analyze the vitamin D nutritional status of children in Jinan.Methods A total of 3946 children aged 0-17 years who underwent physical examination in Jinan Central Hospital and the Second Children&Women's Healthcare of Jinan City from July 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the study subjects.The serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D[25-(OH)-D]level was detected,and the differences of 25-(OH)-D levels in different genders,ages,and seasons were analyzed.Results Among the included children,the 25-(OH)-D lack rate was 10.37%and the deficiency rate was 12.49%.The 25-(OH)-D lack rate and deficiency rate were the lowest in children aged 1-3 years,and the highest in children aged 10-17 years.The 25-(OH)-D level of children was the highest in autumn and the lowest in winter.The 25-(OH)-D lack rate was the highest in spring and the lowest in summer.The 25-(OH)-D deficiency rate was the highest in autumn and the lowest in winter.Conclusion Vitamin D deficiency still exists in children in Jinan,and the vitamin D level and deficiency rate are different in different ages and seasons.
