Objective To analyze the expression and clinical significance of estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor in endometriosis. Methods A total of 100 patients with endometriosis treated in the 95829 Unit Hospital of Chinese People's Liberation Army from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study group, and 100 healthy women who underwent physical examination in the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. All patients underwent colposcopy cervical biopsy to collect endometrial tissues.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor in endometrial tissues. The positive expression rates of estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor in the two groups and the positive expression rates of estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor in different disease stages were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the positive expression rates of estrogen and progesterone receptors in glandular epithelial cells and stromal cells in the study group were lower(P<0.05).The positive expression rates of estrogen and progesterone in glandular epithelial cells and stromal cells in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳpatients were lower than those in stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor in patients with endometriosis is different from that in healthy women.
