Objective To explore the clinical effect of massage combined with acupoint application in the treatment of children with tic disorder(TD).Methods A total of 40 children with TD admitted to Xing'an League People's Hospital from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into study group(20 cases)and control group(20 cases)by the random number table method.The control group was given conventional drug treatment,and the study group was given massage combined with acupoint application treatment on the basis of control group.The traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,total effective rate,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the scores of irritable temperament and sallow complexion were decreased in both groups,and the scores of irritable temperament and sallow complexion in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of study group was 100.00%,which was higher than 80.00%of control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 5.00%,which was lower than 35.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Massage combined with acupoint application treating children with TD can improve the symptoms and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,which is worth promoting.
