Objective To investigate the clinical effect of refractive correction therapy combined with fine visual training in the treatment of ametropic amblyopia in older children. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the 98 children with ametropic ametropia who were admitted to Beijing Pinggu Maternal and Child Health Hospital from September 2020 to December 2022.According to different treatment plans, the children were divided into control group(49 cases, refractive correction therapy)and experimental group(49 cases, refractive correction therapy combined with fine visual training),and the treatment effect of the two groups was compared. Results Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of experimental group was higher(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in visual acuity and diopter between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the visual acuity and diopter of the two groups were improved, and compared with the control group, the visual acuity and diopter of experimental group was better(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of refractive correction therapy and fine visual training for older children with ametropic amblyopia can improve the treatment effect and visual acuity, which is worthy of promotion.
