Objective To observe the clinical effect of close reduction and internal fixation with Pick's needle in the treatment of supracondylar humeral fracture in children. Methods A total of 84 children with supracondylar humeral fracture admitted to Nanchong Central Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects.By the random number table method, they were divided into two groups, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with plaster fixation, and the experimental group was treated with close reduction and internal fixation with Pick's needle. The operation time, length of hospitlization, pain index, elbow joint function, and total incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The length of hospitlization and operation time of experimental group were shorter than those of control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the pain score of experimental group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of elbow joint function in the experimental group(95.24%)was higher than that in the control group(80.95%)(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Close reduction and internal fixation with Pick's needle treating supracondylar humeral fracture in children has the advantages of short operation time, low pain, and few complications, which can promote the rehabilitation of children.
