Puerperal infection refers to systemic infection induced by pathogens invading the reproductive tract during labor and puerperium.Mild puerperium infection is mainly local infection,and in severe cases,it can induce systemic inflammatory response,and even multiple organ failure,which threatens the life safety of parturients.Streptococcus gallolyticus subsp.pasteurianus can cause diseases such as meningitis.This article reports the diagnosis and treatment process of a patient with puerperium Streptococcus gallolyticus subsp.pasteurianus bloodstream infection in the Department of Obstetrics,Binzhou Medical University Hospital,in order to strengthen obstetricians'attention to Streptococcus gallolyticus infection,early detection,early diagnosis,and treatment,so as to reduce neonatal infection.
