Objective To explore the value of ultrasound parameters in the endometrium-myometrium junction(EMI)in the diagnosis of adenomyosis(AD).Methods A total of 56 patients with AD in Huangdao District Fifth People's Hospital of Qingdao from April 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study group, and 56 women who underwent health examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. Both groups received three-dimensional ultrasound examination. The EMI ultrasonic parameters of the two groups were compared, and the diagnostic value of EMI ultrasonic parameters was analyzed. Results The proportion of EMI morphological abnormalities in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),the average EMI thickness and volume were larger than those in the control group(P<0.05),the EMI vascularization flow index,EMI flow index,EMI vascularization index, and endometrial flow index were smaller than those in the control group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that abnormal EMI morphology and average EMI thickness were independent risk factors for AD(P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic curve showed that area under the curve of the EMI morphology,EMI average thickness, and combined diagnosis was 0.672,0.739,and 0.825,respectively.Conclusion EMI ultrasound parameters(EMI morphology and average thickness)have certain diagnostic value for AD and are worth popularizing.
