Objective To analyze the application effect of targeted nursing under the concept of hierarchical chain nursing in the treatment period of pediatric pneumonia.Methods A total of 108 pediatric pneumonia admitted to Gaoyou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Jiangsu Province from January 2022 to May 2023 were selected.According to the random number table method,they were divided into observation group and control group,with 54 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given targeted nursing under the concept of hierarchical chain nursing.The lung function(forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1]forced vital capacity[FVC],FEV1/FVC)hospitalization time,and symptom disappearance time(asthma,cough,high fever,expectoration)were compared between the two groups.Results The levels of FEV1,FVC,and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The hospitalization time and the disappearance time of symptoms in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted nursing under the concept of hierarchical chain nursing can improve the lung function of pediatric pneumonia,shorten the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and hospitalization time,which is worthy of recommendation.
