Objective To explore the effects of continuous nursing based on mindfulness intervention on benefit finding and quality of life in patients with cervical cancer after surgery. Methods A total of 60 patients with cervical cancer after radical hysterectomy admitted to the Affiliated Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital of Nantong University from January 2020 to December 2021 were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The scores of negative emotions(self-rating anxiety scale[SAS],self-rating depression scale[SDS]),benefit finding(benefit finding scale[BFS])and quality of life(functional assessment cancer therapy-cervix[FACT-Cx])were compared between the two groups at discharge(T0),8 weeks after intervention(T1)and 12 weeks after intervention(T2).Results At T1 and T2,the SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the BFS score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).At T1 and T2,the FACT-Cx score of the two groups was higher than that at T0(P<0.05),and the FACT-Cx score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous nursing based on mindfulness intervention can improve the benefit finding level and quality of life, and regulate negative emotions in patients with cervical cancer after surgery.
