Impact of operating room safety management based on enhanced recovery after surgery on the nursing quality of extendable intramedullary nail fixation surgery for children with osteogenesis imperfecta
Objective To explore the impact of operating room safety management based on enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)on the nursing quality of extendable intramedullary nail fixation surgery for children with osteogenesis imperfecta.Methods Sixty children with osteogenesis imperfecta who underwent extendable intramedullary nail fixation surgery and were admitted to Children's Hospital of Soochow University from October 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the study objects.All the children were divided into the control group and the observation group using the lottery method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received traditional operating room nursing,while the observation group received operating room safety management based on ERAS on the basis of the control group.The physiological stress indicators,anxiety emotions,and the incidence of intraoperative complications and postoperative surgical site infections were compared between the two groups.Results Before anesthesia,the physiological stress indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before anesthesia,the Chinese version of the modified Yale preoperative anxiety scale score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of intraoperative complications and postoperative surgical site infections in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The operating room safety management based on ERAS can alleviate the physiological stress response and anxiety emotions of children with osteogenesis imperfecta who undergo extendable intramedullary nail fixation surgery,reduce the incidence of intraoperative complications and postoperative surgical site infections,and is worthy of promotion.
