Analysis on the Oil Components of Butyrospermum parkii and Its Penetration Enhancing Effect in vitro
In the paper, the oil components of Butyrospermum parkii were analyzed by GC-MS. Preliminary investigations found that the seven main components of Prinsepia utilis RoSe are lauric acid, nutmeg acid, hexadecano- ic acid, nonadecanoic acid, ll-dodecenoicacid, arachidic acid, behenic acid and the percentage composition of these components are 1. 589%, 3. 075%, 70.286%, 0.822%, 3. 958%, 16. 506%, 1.371% respectively. Skin penetration experiments in vitro showed that the oil components of Butyrospermum parkii can significantly increase the transder- mal penetrance of lidocaine. The accumulated permeation amounts of azone group and Butyrospermum parkii group are 794.84μg and 1 144.95μg respectively, while the accumulated permeability are 7.95% and 11.4%. Penetration enhancing effect of Butyrospermum parkii in vitro for lidocaine is superior to azone in some degree.
