Study on the Effect of Flame Scarfing Depth on the Enamel Properties of Ultra Low Carbon Cold Rolled Enamel Steel
This paper verifies the changes in scale explosion resistance, adhesion, and hydrogen perme-ability of ultra-low carbon cold rolled enamel steel by studying and adjusting the flame scarfing depth of the casting billet. The research results indicate that when the flame scarfing depth of the casting billet has been reduced from 4mm to 2mm,and there is no scale explosion phenomenon in the ultra-low carbon cold rolled enamel steel, and there is no change in the adhesion level. The results of hydrogen permeation test showed that after reducing the flame scarfing depth of the casting billet to 2 mm,there was no significant change in hydrogen permeation time and the TH value of anti scale explosion sensitivity, and TH values were>10min/mm2,indicating excellent anti-scale explosion performance.
