Research on Sizing of"Push-Pull combined"Embedded Software Project Cluster——Based on the COSMIC model
To address the limitations of conventional COSMIC models in accommodating the scale eval-uation of push-pull embedded software, this paper introduces an enhanced COSMIC scale evaluation method that has been localized and extended.Initially, the use of WBS enhances understanding of user functional requirements, embedded software engineering structures, and interdependencies among compo-nents;Subsequently,the functional components of the project under evaluation are assessed based on the differences between the baseline functional set of the project group and those of the project in question; Then,a component logic complexity adjustment factor is introduced to locally extend the COSMIC ap-proach;Finally,the results from the validation of this method in specific AIoT Bluetooth voice remote control projects demonstrate that it enhances the accuracy and practicality of scale evaluation while maintai-ning measurement efficiency, thereby providing a reliable foundation for project schedule management and cost estimation.
