Current Situation,Attribution Analysis,and Logical Pathway of the Teaching of Ideological and Political Courses in Chinese Universities
With universities in Hubei Province as research samples,this study randomly selected a total of 30 ideological and political classes for in-class observations and questionnaire surveys,and conducted analysis from the three perspectives of the value of the course,teaching content,and teaching methods.The research findings indicate that(1)the influence of diverse ideological trends and teacher competence on the value of the course has reduced the explanatory power of ideological and political courses;(2)the lack of targeted teaching content has weakened the guiding role of the course;(3)the absence of subjectivity and insufficient liveliness in teaching methods have diminished the inspirational effect of the course.To address such issues,ideological and political education teachers should align with the six requirements for ideological and political education teachers proposed by President Xi to enhance the explanatory power of the course,emphasize targeted transformation of the teaching materials to improve the guiding role of the course,and use the teaching method of telling engaging stories to enhance the inspirational effect of the course.
