Probe into the Factors in and Strategies for the Development of Rural Ecotourism in Yunnan
Through descriptive statistical analysis of ecotourism in Yunnan Province and an analysis of consumption characteristics of tourists to Yunnan,this study reveals the gender,age,education level,and occupation distribution of such tourists,as well as their consumption preferences for local entertainment experiences.The research findings indicate that ecological tourism in Yunnan Province is primarily favored by young women,and recent development efforts have yielded positive results,and that in terms of tourist consumption characteristics,ecological experiences are the most popular,followed by wellness experiences,sports competitions,and outdoor activities.However,the survey indicates that tourists have relatively low purchasing power.Visualizations of correlation analysis are further used to analyze the problems in the development of ecological tourism in Yunnan Province.The main issues include a lack of sustainable planning,improper utilization of ecological tourism resources,environmental degradation,inadequate governance,insufficient attractiveness of specialty products,and weak links between the tourism industry and local agriculture and ecology.The study identifies the correlations among these problems,providing a basis for formulating strategies to address them.
