Construction and Simulation of the System Dynamics Model for Two-Way Rural Logistics Supply Chain
To address the delivery problems caused by the traditional one-way rural logistics supply chain model, this study constructs a two-way rural logistics supply chain model that involves the transportation of agricultural products to the city and consumer goods to the countryside.Using X County as an example, this paper explores the benefits of implementing the two-way rural logistics supply chain model. The research finds that compared to the one-way rural logistics supply chain model, the two-way logistics supply chain model can achieve the following effects by planning the delivery plan:when the vehicle load rate is increased to 80%,90%,and 100%,and the average transportation distance increased to 5km,6km,and 7km,the total mileage of delivery vehicles, urban freight road congestion, delivery costs, energy consumption, and carbon emissions can be reduced by 68%-70%,55%-71%,11%-23%,and 6%-9%respectively.This indicates that the two-way rural logistics supply chain model has certain advantages over the one-way logistics supply chain model in terms of cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Therefore,to improve the delivery efficiency of the rural logistics supply chain model, the government should increase its efforts to transform the current rural logistics delivery infrastructure, reasonably establish a rural logistics supply chain network with county, township, and village nodes, and improve the node planning and layout of the two-way rural logistics supply chain.
