Antecedent Configurations of New Quality Productivity from the Perspective of Dual Transformation Synergy——A Dynamic QCA Analysis Based on Panel Data from 30 Provinces in China(2014-2021)
From the perspective of diual transformation synergy, this study uses the TOE theoretical framework and employs dynamic QCA research methods. It analyzes panel data from 30 provinces in China between 2014 and 2021 to explore the differentiated impact paths of new quality productivity across regions. The findings reveal that:(1)There are significant regional differences in the development of new quality productivity influenced by artificial intelligence technology, digital economy levels, digital talent resources,low-carbon competitiveness, green technology innovation, and the ecological transformation of industrial structure. The differences in new quality productivity due to digital talent resources and ecological industrial structure are mainly observed between the east and central regions, east and west regions,as well as central and west regions, while differences in the impacts of artificial intelligence technology, digital economy levels,low-carbon competitiveness, and green technology innovation on new quality productivity are primarily seen in east and west regions,as well as central and west regions.(2)There are four equivalent paths leading to high new quality productivity:M1 Sustainable Digital-Driven,M2a Talent-Driven Ecological,M2b Sustainable Ecological, and M3 Imbalanced Ecological.(3)Configurations M1,M2a,M2,and M3 show no significant temporal or regional effects. In summary, this study theoretically clarifies the influencing factors and evolutionary paths of new quality productivity among regions in the context of dual transformation synergy, while providing practical guidance for enhancing new quality productivity across regions in China.
