Success of Chinese Women's Competitive Sports:Reasons and Value Orientation
This paper reviews the gains and losses of the value orientation of the Chinese women's competitive sports through historical analysis,and explores into the reasons for the success of the Chinese women's competitive sports in order to provide suggestions for its higher quality development.The reasons can be divided into three levels:macro(from the perspective of national collectivism and globalization),meso(from the perspective of sports events)and micro(from the perspective of individualism).The value orientation of the Chinese women's competitive sports is from the unity of national collectivism to human collectivism and individual liberalism,which is to be the key content of the long-term research.In the new era,to achieve a higher standard,the Chinese women's competitive sports should aim at unity of diversification and rationalization of value orientation,maintaining high level of performance,building its cultural image,and fulfilling its historical mission.
